Starting a Christian Dad Blog - Is It A Good Idea for You?
Book stores are full of a vast variety of Christian books. Great books that help us to grow our faith and stand firm inside our walk with God. I commend so many Christian authors who've given of the time and skill to encourage the world spiritually. There are many believers available who may not have considered writing a book but have so much to share. I encourage you to generally share through blogging. It is a good way to meet the wants of the masses. It is quite fine to leave the lengthy volumes to the expert authors, but do not neglect your desire to share your faith and beliefs. If you do decide to spread your passion for God using blogging as a media, here are a few things to keep in mind:
Choose the right blogging platform for you. If you're starting your first blog choose a free platform like blogger.com. It is very dependable and one of many pioneers in blogging platforms. The paid blog platforms I'd recommend will be wordpress.com and typepad.com.
Include an RSS feed button. Ensure that you add a method for your readers to sign up for your blog through RSS feed. It will inform them if you have posted something new. A great source to create this up is feedburner.com
Email your posts to friends and family. I have found that this is the better way to get some quick, loyal readers.
Submit to article directories. This will take good readers to your blog which have a pastime in that which you write. You should include a link to your site. EzineArticles is my personal favorite of all of the article directories.
Keep it simple. There's no need to overwhelm your readers with theology and apologetics (unless that's the kind of readership you are getting after).
Lend a helping hand. Follow-up with the comments left on your site and see if you're able to help people with this mode of communication.
Inspire, inspire, inspire. Inspire your readers as your goal is always to win some to Christ.
Use mostly God's word over your own. Don't get too overly enthusiastic with your personal ideas and opinions. Let the word of God do all the talking.
Offer prayer. Offer to pray for people. You are able to prhttps://christslovestory.com/obably try this by way of a form or simply encourage them to email you their prayers.
Be patient. Most of all be patient. Don't impose God on anyone. People could eventually appreciate your intentions.
This can be a slow process and does not come with much recognition or praise from anyone but God. Hopefully you are able to deal with that.
